Bill Ho, StrataGen's CTO, will present two papers at the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) America Expo in New York City, Nov 16 - 20.

Bill Ho will be presenting two papers at the ITS America show in November, focusing on two areas of high importance to the Paratransit Industry and StrataGen.

Bill's initial presentation, on the Wednesday of the ITS show, is in conjunction with Brian Altschul of New York City Transit and on the subject "Implementing ITS at New York City for Paratransit Service". This presentation gives an unprecedented look into the New York City Paratransit operations with StrataGen's ADEPT™ software automatically scheduling up to 22,500 trips per day, and New York’s AVLM project to equip all vehicles with AVL/MDC capabilities. These technologies automatically update ADEPT™ with the actual world state in real-time, free dispatchers to take corrective action based on accurate data, and communicate manifest changes to drivers in real-time.

The second presentation focuses on "Intelligent Scheduling and Dispatching in an ITS-Enabled World", and will also be presented on the Wednesday of the show. Investigating the empowering ability of technologies such as AVL and MDC on vehicles and how they represent 20-20 vision for dispatchers, Bill's presentation shows that for Transit Authorities of some size, automatic scheduling and dispatching systems are crucial for efficiencies and service. Bill presents requirements to new, intelligent dispatching options in the ITS-enabled world, and how these requirements are being met by Adept, StrataGen’s automatic scheduling and dispatching system.

New iMAX™ MDT announced at APTA EXPO in San Diego.

StrataGen Systems today unveiled the next generation of Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) at the APTA EXPO, in San Diego, CA. The iMAX™ series is the product of collaboration between StrataGen Systems and hardware industry leader DW Digital Wireless Inc, and is produced with Transit agencies as a focus.

Congratulations New York City MTA for surpassing 22,500 unlinked paratransit trips in one day.

Powered by StrataGen's ADEPT™ software, New York City is now regularly scheduling more than 22,500 unlinked paratransit trips in a single day, a level which is expected to grow futher in the coming months and years.

Broward County wins Urban Property of the Year award at CTAA New Orleans show.

Last night at the CTAA awards ceremony Broward Country won the national award of Urban Property of the Year.

To quote the CTAA Website:
" This award is given to a system which provides service in an urban area of more than 50,000 population, is based on innovative and creative services in the community, is responsive to its customers' and community needs, among other criteria."
