StrataGen has been serving the paratransit industry for 20 years and is a subsidiary of DDS Wireless International, a global company providing integrated mobile data solutions to public transit, fleet and taxi organizations around the world.
Since we focus only on solutions for paratransit, demand response and non-emergency medical transportation we bring a unique perspective in building those solutions for the industry and addressing its operational needs. Our software solution ADEPT is a best in breed application deployed worldwide performing over 25 million trips per year.
Raymond Fast President, StrataGen Systems
Ray Fast has over 30 years of management experience in engineering, business development and business operations, specializing in wireless/satellite communications, location-based services, and web-based applications. Ray joined DDS Wireless in 2006 where he initially managed the eFleet business unit, then the New Markets division, which added the OEM business, then the Hosted System business unit which added the TaxiBook product line, and he now manages the Stratagen System business unit.
Prior to joining DDS Wireless, Ray was a founding member of Contigo Systems, a location-based service ASP in Vancouver, BC. Previously he was Vice President, Telecommunications Strategy and Business Development for webBASIS Inc. in California, a unified communications ASP with an estimated 15 million subscribers. Before joining webBASIS, he held positions as Chief Operating Officer for Image Power Inc. and Cyberion Networking Corp, bvoth in Vancouver, and also held several engineering and management positions at Norsat International Inc., and Microtel Pacific Research Ltd.
Ray holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from LeTourneau University in Texas and is a professional engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC.
He is the inventor or co-inventor of 6 patents for electronic control systems, satellite communications equipment, and GPS security systems.
