StrataGen has been serving the paratransit industry for 20 years and is a subsidiary of DDS Wireless International, a global company providing integrated mobile data solutions to public transit, fleet and taxi organizations around the world.
Since we focus only on solutions for paratransit, demand response and non-emergency medical transportation we bring a unique perspective in building those solutions for the industry and addressing its operational needs. Our software solution ADEPT is a best in breed application deployed worldwide performing over 25 million trips per year.
Scott Hardy, Chief Executive Officer
Scott Hardy is Chief Executive Officer of DDS and Acting President of the StrataGen Systems Division. Mr. Hardy became CEO of DDS in January 2017 after serving as President of StrataGen since joining the company in April 2016. With more than 30 years of information technology, business strategy, leadership, and executive management experience, he has worked with a diverse set of clients and partners across a wide array of industries including transportation, government, telecommunications, and financial services, to name a few.
Mr. Hardy's skill in transforming business has been evident throughout his career. Most recently, he has maintained a management consulting practice focused on business strategy, executive mentoring & coaching and business development.
Prior to that, Mr. Hardy had a distinguished 30-year career with IBM. At IBM he held executive and senior positions within sales, services & consulting, marketing and headquarters functions in both Canada and the United States. He left IBM as general manager, Western Canada, where he was responsible for client relationships, sales and delivery for IBM Canada’s western based clients.
Mr. Hardy began his career at RBC Royal Bank in their investment banking and IT organizations.
Mr. Hardy holds a BBA in Finance from Bishop’s University in Quebec. He has also earned diplomas from executive programs at Harvard University, Boston University, University of Western Ontario and the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
Mr. Hardy currently commutes between offices located in Kirkland, WA and Richmond, BC. When he’s not travelling, he spends his time with his wife and their three lovely daughters. Mr. Hardy also serves on a number of boards and committees and enjoys both skiing and golf when he has time.
